Content Production Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Content Production Specialist. In this role, your meticulous attention to detail will play an important role in building and enriching our digital collections. Position Impact:
Contribute to a wide range of projects leading to the launch of digital collections.
Diversify, enrich, and increase the scope of collections and sources.
As Content Production Specialist you will:
Conduct quality assurance of scanned documents and metadata
Assist with obtaining digital content and metadata from a variety of sources
Identify gaps in content and coverage
Index and maintain organization and artifact records
Coordinate file transfer from vendors
Draft documentation of processes, workflows, and best practices
Qualifications for success:
Experience in processing an array of research material
At least 5-10 years of indexing experience
Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and AirTable for data management
General knowledge of metadata standards and schemas
Experience with content management systems
Possess technical proficiency and ability to learn new software independently
Familiarity with ticketing systems for prioritizing tasks
Willingness to be hands-on and part of an agile and interdisciplinary team
Thoughtful, collaborative, and communicative co-worker
A self-starter who works independently to find solutions and improve processes and workflows
